My only brother Ian sadly passed away on 1st March 2001 he was 40 years young, he loved life and
lived it to the full, he had a wicked sence of humour and everyone who knew Ian would have at some
time fallen victim to one or several of his pranks. Ian caught a flu type virus when he was only 27
which attacked and killed the muscle in his heart and he had to have a heart transplant, until that
point Ian had been perfectly fit and healthy all his life, and even ran a half marathon the previous
year, his donar heart lasted him 10 years but furred up due to all the medication Ian had to take on
a daily basis, we thought we were losing him then but at the last minute Papworth Hospital decided
to give him another transplant because of his age and because he was so healthy otherwise and a
heart had became available which was a perfect match, this heart lasted only 3 years before it too
began to furr up and through time his other internal organs began to fail due to all the steroids
and other medication that Ian was on and to our huge loss he passed away. Ian was a fantastic
brother, son, uncle, husband and friend to all who knew him
We all miss Ian but have fantastic memories that we will never lose, he was one in a million.
Rest in peace Bro, till we meet again.
LOVE you forever
Your sister Gail xxxxxxxx

Hi Bruv, This doesn't get any easier, it's like a knife in my heart and every so often it stabs away at me. I miss you so much Ian, I wish you were here to talk to, I miss having you here to confide in, someone that would give me good sound advice, you always knew what to say Ian, even if you didn't have the answers you always had that sense of humour that made me laugh and cheered me up. I just wish you were still here with us Ian.
Love you forever bruv
Good night.
Gail
Hi Bro
Yesturday was hard, another year passed without you, it doesn't seem to get any easier, yes we've learned to live with loosing you but every anniversary, Birthday, Christmas just causes all the heartache and painfull memories again, I guess the one consolation to it all is that some day we will be together again through our lord Jesus. Till we meet again bro Sleep tight in Jesus arms. Love always
Your wee sis Gail
Luv u
I still dream about you at night Bro and your always here in the present time and then I wake up and realise that it was only a dream, that is by far the hardest part of losing you. Till we meet again Ian
Love and hugs always
Your wee sis Gail
